Terms
These terms cover a Siftware Dev workspace. By starting a trial or a paid plan, you agree to them.
1. Who we are
Siftware Dev is run by Siftware Ltd, registered in England, company number 05778639, VAT number GB887663654, registered office Powys House, Market Square, Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant, Powys, SY10 0JG.
"We" is Siftware Ltd. "You" is the business that holds the workspace, and everyone it lets in. Contact: hello@siftware.dev.
2. The service
Siftware Dev is a hosted workspace at <name>.siftware.dev. It is a tool for businesses. By using it, you confirm you are using it for your business, not as a consumer.
During the beta, places are by application and approved by hand. Features will change while it is in beta.
3. Plans and prices
Plans are per workspace. Prices exclude VAT.
- Solo: £9 a month, or £90 a year. For up to two people.
- Core: £29 a month, or £290 a year.
- Agency: £79 a month, or £790 a year.
A year costs ten times the monthly price, so two months are free. Paid plugins cost extra where the app shows a price.
4. Tax and payment
Stripe handles payment, invoices and tax for us. UK customers pay UK VAT at 20% on top of the price. EU business customers with a valid VAT number are charged no VAT, under the reverse charge. Other customers pay tax as the law requires.
5. Trial
A new workspace starts with a 14-day trial. To carry on after it, add a card. If no card is added by the end of the trial, the workspace is suspended: nobody can sign in. Its data is kept for 30 days, and adding a card in that time, from the link in our email, brings everything back at once. After 30 days the workspace is deleted, as in section 9.
6. Billing
You pay in advance, monthly or yearly. A move to a higher plan takes effect at once, and you pay the difference for the rest of the period. A move to a lower plan takes effect at your next renewal.
7. Cancelling and closing
You can cancel or close your workspace from Settings in the app. You keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part periods, monthly or yearly, unless the law requires it.
8. Your data
Your data is yours. You can export it from the app at any time while the workspace is open.
Our privacy notice covers this website and our mailing list. Our data processing agreement (DPA) sets out how we process personal data for you. It is available on request from hello@siftware.dev.
9. After you close
When a workspace closes, you can still export its data for 30 days. We then delete it, and it leaves every backup within 35 days.
10. Acceptable use
Our acceptable use policy applies to every workspace. We send it with your approval email, and you accept it with these terms.
11. Your own AI and email accounts
You connect your own AI accounts and keys. Your use of them is between you and the provider, under the provider's terms, and the usage you run is yours to pay for. We do not supply or resell AI access.
Campaign email goes out through your own Resend account, which you connect in the app, under Resend's terms.
12. Support access
We only look inside your workspace to help you if you agree to it, and that access is read-only.
13. Suspension
If the acceptable use policy is broken, we will warn the account owner by email and give a reasonable time to fix it. If it carries on, we may limit the feature involved, then suspend the workspace, telling you first. For serious abuse (malware, spam, illegal content, an attack on the service, or an attempt to reach another customer's data) we may suspend straight away and tell you why as soon as we can. Suspension is not deletion: unless the law stops us, you can still export your data for 30 days.
14. What we promise
We will run the service with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise it will always be available or free of faults, and during the beta some features will break. Apart from what these terms say, we give no other promises about the service, as far as the law allows.
15. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
Apart from that, neither of us is liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill, or for any indirect loss. Our total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
16. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. We will email the account owner at least 30 days before a change takes effect, and say what changed. Changes needed by law, or to stop abuse, can take effect sooner. If you do not accept a change, you can close your workspace and take a full export of your data.
17. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
