Count visits, not people
No cookies. Nothing stored on the visitor's device unless they opt out. No requests to other companies. Just how each client's site is used.

How it counts without tracking
The script is about 1 KB and loads from the client's own site.
To count visitors, the server makes a one-way hash from the site, the visitor's IP address, their browser's user agent and a salt. The salt changes every day and the old one is destroyed. So a visitor counts once a day, and can't be followed from one day to the next.
The IP address isn't stored. The country is worked out on our own server when the visit arrives, with no outside lookup, then the address is dropped.
Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control aren't counted. Every site gets a free opt-out: an "Opt out of analytics" link for the footer, and an API if you'd rather build your own. Opting out stores one setting in the browser's local storage. That's the only thing it stores.
It needs no cookie banner of its own: UK law allows counting like this without consent when the site tells visitors and lets them object. The wording for your privacy policy comes with it.
What you see
- Pageviews, per client site. Visit records are kept for 90 days, totals for 13 months.
- Where visitors came from, with campaign (UTM) tags.
- Goals and events: the sign-ups, downloads and clicks you care about.
- A read-only link to send a client, signed so only they can open it. It shows totals.
