An open core under the tool that runs your agency
Tools you depend on can change their prices and terms under you. The core of Siftware Dev is MIT licensed. The source is not published yet.
Everything a delivery team needs, in core
- Projects and tasks, boards, dependencies and email notifications.
- Time: timers, quick-log and the time API.
- The schedule and capacity planning.
- Companies, contacts and client logins.
- Knowledge and docs, including docs synced from git.
- Canvas and the daily note.
- The dashboard and reports.
- Email to task, with routers you can write.
- The REST API with scoped tokens, OpenID Connect sign-in, and the plugin system.
Unlimited clients and projects. Plugins add features on top without changing the core.
Hosted for you: core, and the rest of what we built
The iPhone and iPad app, cashflow and the support inbox are private plugins. You get them on the Agency plan, £79 a month per workspace, any number of people.
Want an instance of your own? Hosted for you is core and our private plugins, on your own domain and sign-in, run and looked after by us.
Built on tools your developers know
It's a Laravel app with a React front end and MySQL 8, shipped as containers to run behind a reverse proxy. Sign-in is through an OpenID Connect provider. Local development runs in DDEV, and a demo sign-in loads sample data.
The code
Siftware Dev began as a fork of LaraCollab by Vladimir Struhar. It has changed almost beyond recognition since, but his work gave us a head start, and we are grateful for it. His MIT licence and copyright notice stay with the code.
